After the pop-rock outfit Broken West decided to end its run last year, band member Ross Flournoy found himself at a loss. In need of some inspiration, he turned to NPR's Monitor Mix online songwriting contest and churned out a strong pop-rock single, which inspired Flournoy to start Apex Manor.
